If you have travel plans in this somewhat remote area of Italy you cannot do better than this hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet —friendly staff, some of whom speak very good English. Hotel restaurant is very good for dinner and serves a buffet breakfast too. We arrived late and were very happy with the convenience and quality of the on site restaurant for dinner. The location makes great base travel in this region. This hotel was everything you could ask for. This small hotel is close to everything but is in a calm town away from the big city. The food was excellent. Calm peaceful, location, beautiful views and helpful, friendly people.
Very friendly staffs. We LOVED the thermal pool! Natural hot springs. 3 different pools and very relaxing. They also have a bar/cafe right next to the thermal pool and they serve fresh squeezed juices. Breakfast - most selections. Very delicious.
This place was my favorite on our last trip, unique and isolated but beautiful surroundings, excellent service and the personal couldn’t be nicer, kitchen was outstanding I give it 5 stars. Hope one day I can return.
We did not have breakfast as it was not included(but was a very good price) and we wanted to get down the road to the Bufalo Mozzarella farm. Staff was excellent. Parking was easy. This was the best bed and pillows...much needed for a long day of traveling from the US.
Beautiful place! Enjoyed the room, the farm and the hospitable staff. Their fresh buffalo mozzarella is incredible!!
The only negative was the sound from the kitchen below at night, likely making the fabulous mozzarella. However, would not hesitate to return.
The property was amazing. I would give it 10 stars if I could. We checked in, bought a bottle of wine and sat by the pool. We had dinner in their amazing restaurant and the food was to die for. The entire experience was well beyond my expectations. This property should definitely be put on your list. You will not be disappointed.
I was looking for an authentic place to stay in Muro Lucano and Nonna's was it! You can walk to many places but know that there are many steps and hills. Grocery store a minute walk down the street.
Beautiful room perfect for our family with 2 teenagers. Location near the train station and walkable around the town was great! Hosts were very helpful and the breakfast at the great pastry shop on the street behind was yummy.
We loved our stay. Roberto and Francesco were super welcoming and very hospitable! Our room was lovely. One thing to be aware of is that the property does require going up a significant hill with your luggage, as the taxis can’t get all the way up. That was not a problem for us, we loved our stay and highly recommend !!!!
