This place is a gem. It is authentic to the Lake Orta area (near train station and a reasonable walk to the lake), but it is also welcoming to visitors from around the world. Nice family vibe but also would be good for a couple. The restaurant next door served a perfectly memorable dinner, and they also provided a delightful picnic lunch. Breakfast is regional--farm fresh. The room is modern, simple, clean. We would love to return.

The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming. Its location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of a truly magical town, just steps from charming streets, local cafés, and beautiful historic sights. Everything was within walking distance, making it easy to soak in the atmosphere from morning until night. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. Hotel Belvedere has a one of a kind island setting within Lake Maggiore. Our balcony view was terrific and so spacious. Windows all around made the room very cheerful. The experience alone makes this place unforgettable. We easily caught a boat from Stresa and were able to park our car right at the Stresa boat dock, so logistics were simple. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant, appeared that the clientele were arriving by private boats in the evening and the atmosphere was very nice. WiFi...

We drove from Munich, Germany for a wedding to Lago Maggiore. Looking for hotels in Stresa, we found out that the prices where not very fair and quite expensive for something nice. Looking through hotels.com we found a brand new hotel which opened only in May 25th and seemed to be very modern and luxusrious with a great value. I would def visit the Hotel again if I visit Laggio Magiore. The staff was very friends and profesional. The hotel rooms are very nice and are in great conditons. Bathroom...
