Hotel Maverick

10/10 Excellent

"Love Hotel Maverick. The restaurant, Devil’s Kitchen is great, as is the Betty’s breakfast/coffee shop. My only complaint is how loud all the doors are. I stayed in room 104 and by 5-6 am a door was audibly opening and shutting every few minutes which I’m guessing was employees arriving for work. They very graciously moved and accommodated me in my transfer for my second night and it wasn’t as bad but the housekeeping door was right across from me and it was just as loud. I love the ambience, amenities, service, and that it is part of the hospitality program for the university. Everything is a 10 except for early morning noise. Light sleepers beware."

"I can’t give it 5 stars across the board simply because it’s a budget hotel. For what it is, it is exactly what you would expect, and I mean that as an unreserved compliment. It was clean, comfortable, and the price was quite good. This Super 8 in Grand Junction was a great jumping off point for mountain biking around Fruita."
