On the day of my arrival my husband and I were greeted by the owner Bradley. Bradley assisted us with our luggage and personally escorted us to our room. He gave us the grand tour of the building and explained how the items in the room function (TV, lights etc...) One personal touch that I loved was him offering us a nice hot pot of tea. Absolutely brilliant stay and cannot wait to return and stay again! You are in the heart of Dartmoor and this is a perfect “home base” for hikes or start other adventures in the area. The room was one of the best we’ve had on our long trip. It was so well appointed with a carafe of water, fresh baked granola, coffee, tea, town map, etc.! The breakfast was so delicious!
