Excellent service and very clean room.

I stayed here when transferring over night from the west bound California Zephry to the south bound San Jaoquin through the Central Valley It's a two mile walk down Alhambra Street. Martinez is a very nice community and the Muir Lodge is no frills place with modern amenities and a great price, perfect for my purposes. It's right on Alhambra so there is traffic noise. Next time I will ask for a room further from the street.

Love that the Claremont is very dog friendly, with bowls and beds plus a dog welcome package in the room and handy dog areas outside. Note our room was definitely a dog room and while spacious, it smelled like it - not unexpected but strong - and some of the furniture had seen some real pet action. On the upside, the bed was super comfortable, the redone gym and pool are awesome and still feel new, and the location is great.

New clean property. Just a few feet away from bart and other shipping centers. Pretty safe area police patrol all the time. There's a police station next down the block. Keep that in mind.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Elm House. The staff was pleasant, the room was nice, the property was all we needed. We didn’t need to be downtown in Napa or Sonoma because we traveled all over the areas for a week. We went from the coast to the redwoods, small towns, canyon roads, to wineries all over. The breakfast at the Inn was nice too. The atmosphere at the Inn was calming and soothing. We didn’t spend a lot of our time at the Inn, but it was always nice to come back to the...

Loved all the staff, rooms so clean, had everything you could need in the room. Beds so very comfortable, shower was awesome! Breakfast very good, lots of options.

The hotel was great, I just did not care for the area

There's a bus stop on the corner that goes to the MacArthur bart station.

This is an older hotel - kinda feels like visiting my grandma. That said, the rooms are spacious, the folks are super friendly. If you need 5-star, go elsewhere. If you want friendly and affordable with good amenities, stay here. I stay here every time I travel to a Bay Area race.

I was looking for a cheap place to stay in Berkeley that was convenient to the bus and Bart lines, and the Marina Inn was perfect. 51b stops right outside to go to downtown Berkeley, plus it is just a short walk down for the marina or the North Berkeley Bart station. Very clean and comfortable room, with hard wood floors and big screen tv. I was very happy with my choice.

Our stay was pleasant from the moment of checking in with Greg at the desk, to the time we left. The breakfast ladies were very friendly, and the staff who cleaned the rooms were very attentive and cooperative. One thing that I deeply appreciated was the availability of the luggage cart. When you get older this is a must!

Great airport hotel for our family of 6. The room was great! Separate bedroom and a pull out couch, kitchenette with dining table. Very quiet and worked out great. The area is not the best so make sure you valet.
