Andrea, was a splendid Host. Attentive and thorough about our itinerary and excursions. Great restaurant recommendations and advice on what to see and eat in San Pelligrino and Bergamo. The room was positively clean and amply stocked with everything we needed for a two night stay. Breakfast was wonderful and delightful, with warm brioche and \ in house made pastries and jams. When you imagine Italian hospitality at it's best you will find Andrea :) Grazie Andrea !

We've stopped here for 4 nights during our trip to Italy. Roncobello is a nice and quiet town situated in Alps with a lot of hiking trails within 30min distance (driving). The room we've stayed at was recently renovated and was really nice and fresh. It had everything we needed from comfortable bed, flat screen TV, wifi, to beautiful bathroom. Resort staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was very good too! Make sure to try the restaurant in the evening, the food is the best...

We had a fantastic time. Albergo Moderno is quite off the beaten path, somehow we had misestimated where it was in relation to our target (it was listed as a Lake Como area property ....), but all the same a lovely experience. This is a traditional European style pensione where the proprietor prepares the meals, manages the bookings, etc. Located at the summit in Valle Imagna, the view (and drive) was breathtaking, the air lovely and the experience fantastic.
