"Enjoyed a nice stay at The Littleton helped by the lovely weather! My room (1) was a bit warm but a fan was provided which helped cool things down. A lovely old inn with lots of character and a fantastic restaurant. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Hotel a bit tired in places but old buildings like this take a lot of upkeep. Breakfast was also excellent and I would definitely stay here again!"

"Hotel is lobby and bar area are beautiful, slight issue with our room paid for a superior double but on entering room I realised we had an adjoining door to another room which was occupied by other guests didn’t like this idea at all ,the room was very small with the bed up against the wall nothing superior about the room ,the lady at reception confirmed it was infact a superior room but was happy to change me a better room , the location of hotel is perfect , I would stay here again"

"Nice stay. Given a room upgrade on arrival which was much appreciated. Great to have a fridge and kitchen amenities. Only thing we could criticise was the blanket on the bed (not the duvet, so at least it could be just put to one side) had white stains on it. Otherwise, the room was nice and clean. Staff were all friendly. Would use again."

"Ok so driving in you'll find plenty of parking spaces and then receptions at the far end of the building. There's a little bit of work going on but nothing too dramatic. Reception staff will helpful or be able to be a nice if they slow down a little bit with directions because we didn't quite understand where we were going but we found our room okay in the end. The main thing that's noticeable is the carpets hadn't been cleaned for quite a while they need a vacuum at least. Apart from that the hotels fairly well maintained. We were in an accessible room which was fine except for the fact that the shower is in the bath and that meant I couldn't use it. We had come to use the spa facilities which is fairly well located although some extra signs on the walls would do better because we went the long way round which is not helpful when you're disabled. There isn't lift so I had to manage One flight of stairs up and down. Facilities are quite good in the spa except for the fact that the hot tub isn't working and apparently hasn't been working for quite a while. we went in the steam room which was a good temperature and the pool was a good temperature as well. We were booked in for dinner bed and breakfast and the dinner exceeded our expectations. Three courses off a set menu. I had loaded nachos followed by vegetarian curry and Ice-cream my husband had the nachos and a large pizza. Will definitely stay here again."
