"This was a lovley little place to stay. Very convenient to the train for a short ride to Zurich. The photos show the property on the water. Guests should know though, the water is across a busy coastal town street. Not a bother, but not what we thought. Not a big thjng but several lights were out in the kitchen. Communication with the host was non existent. Unanswered messages and phone calls. There was a problem with the washing machine and the host NEVER responded and our clothes were locked in and we were leaving early the next day. It was a coin operated and it would not take the coins. The employee at the cafe in front Kataryn, helped all she could. She tried to communicate with the host also, who seems to be taking advantage of her kindness (keys are leftwith her also). Finally the host contacted Kataryn and said she didn't know how to fix it and did not offer a repair solution. It looked like we would not get our clothes. Kataryn contacted a building tenant who knew that at times the coins had to be scuffed up for the machine to recognize the coins. The host NEVER contacted us. We would stay here again only if there were a different host. Everyone should visit Kataryn at the polish cafe in the front."

"Dear black travelers, this is . Switzerland made me feel like home away from home, at this hotel specifically. We had an amazing time here! The staff is very friendly and speaks English well. The breakfast hours are 0630-1030 and the selection is very nice. They had a mix of traditional american choices (bacon, scrambled and boiled eggs, toast, yogurt) and European choices (assorted seeds and nuts, many different types of breads and crossants, ham, salami, cured meats, and cheese). The casino is a decent size. It has a couple blackjack tables, roulette, and 1 table thats the equivalent to ultimate Texas holdem. Then ofcourse an assortment of slots. The restaurant is also pretty good. When you go in your room there may be a large circular paper that looks like a casino chip. You can use 1 per day, per person. Ensure you take it daily to the check in desk in the casino or cashiers cage if the promotion is going on. Its 10 free CHF. They also offer discounts for the waterpark thats a short walk away. The room was comfortable and the shower water was very very very hot. Be careful. The bathroom could have been cleaner but it wasnt too horrible."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices. Friendly staff and with my kids owning dogs, it was a plus to know they had 33 dogs (Husky’s) on the property. Would highly recommend even if you’re not a dog lover."

"My husband grabbed a snack bar by the buffet area, he didn’t know that it’s not part of the complimentary breakfast. Later, we saw the sign “Honesty Bar”. It’s quite sarcastic because nothing was in English except for that, it would be fair if there’re price tags letting people aware of it. We travel there with the main purpose of using the Bath, but was told that it was closed for annual maintenance until the last day of our stay. It would be nice for the Hotel to mention something in the information section before we paid for the stay."
