Our room was spotless, well-equipped and supremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is very little you would walk to from here, but if you have a car this is an excellent stop.

We booked for one night at the chateau de la cote and the experience surpassed our expectations. The castle is beautiful, the grounds well kept, the vue is incredible wherever you look, the people/staff were friendly, and efficient. We were upgraded to two large connecting rooms very spacious, tasteful furniture.. Bathroom was clean and Contemporay We also stayed for dinner and had an excellent meal on the terrasse. The self serve Italian coffee machine in the salon is fantastic. Walk to everything in the delightful village with many riverside park areas. We took short drive to Brantome for an excellent dinner. This hotel is perfectly acceptable. You are in Brantome to experience the city and and the surrounding area, not get the full spa experience. The staff was very helpful and helped us non-french speakers out with all of our questions. It was a great jumping off point for the rest of our city touring.
Most helpful and friendly family owned hotel staff! Very safe on site locked parking. The hotel has a fantastic swimming pool and outdoor patio. This is not a 5 star hotel, but the staff make you feel like you are their favorite customer. Lots of open air feel to this place. AC worked great.
