Great location in downtown. It's a motel, but for what you know what you should be getting, it's better. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and very respectful. The pool is a nice touch. We were out and about most of the time, but a great place to sleep. Will stay again.
This property is .7 miles walking from the center of Paso. Flat walk with sidewalks. The walk was just the right distance to get ready to enjoy the food and spirts, then work some it off before retiring for the night. There are two options, walk on a busy street or on a side street( Park St) which leads you right to the down town square with shops restaurants and wine tasting. This is a wonderful place. The location is right in the heart of old east Cambria, with many excellent restaurants nearby. Service great. Breakfast is very well done by a friendly staff.
The house is very old, with some steep stairs, so if that's not your thing the upstairs rooms won't be your kind of place.
Paso Robles was warm the first day, cool at night. Second day windy, cool at night. Headed down to Pismo, 20 degrees cooler which was awesome. We let our children use the king bed as me and the wife tried to fit on the pullout, wasnt the best idea, plus she was pregnant. The pullout was so uncomfortable and small. So next night we got a roll away bed, i got lucky enough to sleep and the pull out again, yah for dad… The lobby has a bar, just suck when its $6 a beer.. Overall, beautiful hotel,...
I was very happy with staying here. My husband and I enjoyed the camper, it was hot, but the AC cooled it enough to be comfortable. The amenities are basic but it was what we needed. The bathrooms/showers were clean.

This is an older property, but it's managed by its upscale neighbor (Cavalier Oceanfront Resort) and provides amenities (fancy toiletries, room service, attentive staff, beach access) that you would not expect in its price range. Definitely attractive for a short stay, for a longer stay visit its neighbor.
We live two hours from the coast so we go all the time and we’ve stayed at almost all of the hotels in San Simeon and this one is the one we like the best! The restaurant is a little pricey but it’s good! We will come back
This is our second time renting a bungalow this year! We LOVE this place! The rooms are perfect for us. The patio is phenomenal and such a great place to hang out in the evenings. Everything is walkable. The beach access is directly across the street, so having a beach day is so easy and convenient. Counting down the days until my next excuse to book again!
From the moment we walked in until we left, service and attention to detail was superb. Immaculate rooms beautiful grounds, helpful and cheerful staff. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back for a longer stay.
Room was spotless and smelled recently cleaned. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve seen. Everything was clean and fresh, the lady cleaning while making sure everything was stocked was very nice. Loved the fresh pancake machine and quality yogurts. Would stay again, thanks!
