"Staff, clean room"

"Worst stay of my life – unsafe, unhygienic, and completely misrepresented This was hands down the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. My family was genuinely scared during the stay, and I was under constant stress the entire time. The property falsely mentions parking available within 100 meters—there is no dedicated parking at all. I was forced to park my car next to a garbage dumping area, which itself says everything about the place. The entrance and rooms are in horrible condition. Mattresses were lying openly in the corridor, the place was full of mosquitoes, and despite repeatedly asking, no mosquito repellent or support was provided by the staff. Trash was scattered all around the back side of the property, making the environment extremely unhygienic. There was constant noise, random people coming and going, and absolutely no sense of safety or professionalism. This did not feel like a hotel—it felt chaotic and unsafe. Thanks to Expedia for at least trying to help with alternatives, but unfortunately this stay itself turned out to be a complete disaster for us. To make things worse, customer care offered a laughable ₹100 compensation and no alternate stay options, which is frankly insulting given the situation. I strongly urge Expedia to physically review and audit properties before listing them. This place should not be listed on any travel platform. I would never recommend this property to anyone, especially families."

"When we arrived we were allocated a small corner room that was quite claustrophobic. We asked for a bigger room and moved to the room next door. This was bigger but had a strange set up of the toilet being up a step and behind a shower curtain! When we came to wash we found that the shower was just a dribble of discoloured water. They promised to get a plumber to look at the problem the next day. Next day no one had been to fix the problem. We ended up moving back in to the small room so that we could shower properly. Water in this room was fine. Bed was comfortable, cleanliness good. Girls on reception pleasant and helpful. Breakfast wasnt good, we only tried it once then ate out the other mornings."

"I had three beautiful days at Sunset Cafe Beach Stay. Sandeep and the team took care of everything and I felt very welcomed. The communication and arrival all worked like a charm and the food was also pretty good. All in all I can fully recommend staying here! "
