Really enjoyed our stay there, very friendly staff, great feeling of being welcomed home. My only complaint is not very many food choices, they are a bit excessive in price as well as the drinks from the bar. It seems that happy hour would be better if you offered 1/2 price for any drink during that time as we are accustomed to at other locations.
Stayed at Uprisings for five days while visiting friends in Fiji. Small hotel, nice facilities right on the beach. Lovely staff, responsive to our needs, very welcoming. Convenient for bus travel from Nadi, trips to Suva. Organized activities readily available. Much smaller and more personable than the Pearl, which is just up the road. Note that Villa's have air con, garden Bures do not but we found the fan and open windows kept the bure cool and comfortable. We look forward to staying at...
I stayed two nights at this hotel which was what i expected for a five star hotel. Clean, comfortable, and very pleasant staff. Breakfast buffet was good.
Absolutely gorgeous natural setting, with plenty of amenities and close enough to Suva for shopping or other big-city activities there. Plus the rates are more than reasonable, in fact an incredible deal.
I loved the history, the character of this small hotel. The room was so spacious, clean with a modern twist. Quirky and a definitive gem in Suva. This hotel is rated 3 stars but I personally would rate it with the big boys, holiday inn and Grand Pacific, Five Princes Hotel is on a smaller scale but has everything to offer as the big boys.
The property is safe and clean. The owner, her family and their staff are wonderful! She helped us familiarize ourselves with the area. She drove us places and always offered to help. Our stay was made easier because of staying here.
I was initially in another, similarly priced, hotel in Suva that was so unpleasant I decided to move. Capricorn was such a relief - the room is spacious, bright, well layed out and the view is spectacular. It was great to have an outdoor porch and to have the opportunity to prepare simple meals.
