"Location is excellent, and the price is very reasonable for the area. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the noise. The room didn’t seem very well soundproofed, and we could clearly hear noise from both outside and the hallway. This may have been because our room was located on the first floor. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel, especially for its great location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and good value."

"This hotel was a lovely place to stay with friendly staff and lovely air conditioned rooms. It was a perfect location on the piazza with very good train and tram connections close by! The breakfast buffet and bar were both really nice with lovely food."

"I had such a lovely experience at The hotel is beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything felt cozy and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with plenty of great options. What I loved the most is the location it’s close enough to walk absolutely everywhere, yet far enough from the busy crowds. The staff was also very kind and welcoming. Overall, such a wonderful stay, and I would definitely come back"

"We had a wonderful stay at La Scaletta in Florence! The hotel was extremely clean, and the staff was always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, with so many great shops, restaurants, and beautiful sights within easy walking distance. One of the things we loved most was the combination of history and modern comfort. Staying in such a beautiful historic building, surrounded by gorgeous frescoes and architectural details, made the experience feel very special, while the rooms still had a fresh, modern vibe. The terrace bar was another highlight and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Florence. Beautiful hotel, excellent location, and great service. We would definitely recommend La Scaletta and would happily stay here again!"

"The hotel is in a great spot if you want to be in the city center. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and overall it was a great space. I wish they had conditioner but I noticed that some of the hotels in Europe just don’t have conditioner. Some do and some don’t so if they did that would have been a bonus. I will say our bathroom was weird and I forgot to take a pic of it. It was different than what you see in the pictures for the comfort room that we picked. It was a small closet sized room that had the shower in the corner with a drain so even with towels surrounding the shower the floor would get wet and it was easy to slip. Other than that the room was perfect for what we needed it to be for our trip."

"My husband and I traveled with our two teenage boys this summer, and we were so glad we chose to stay at Spadai. We stayed in two separate rooms since the family suite was not available, and the arrangement worked out very well for us. The location was excellent—perfect for exploring Florence on foot, and especially convenient during the heat wave because we could easily return to the hotel for short breaks throughout the day. The rooms were impeccable, the bathrooms were spacious and spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast spread, which had something for everyone, including a large selection of cheeses, pastries, cakes, and cold cuts. I would absolutely stay at Spadai again if I return to Florence. I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful hotel!"

"We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and specious and the AC was amazing for how hot it was! The property is very well maintained, the pool is lovely and we very much enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner a few nights. While we loved the quiet location, it is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Florence, so cabs back and forth can get expensive. Regardless, it was an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend!"
