"Decent hotel if a bit dear for what it was. All in all fine for night or two but restaurant understaffed for both dinner and breakfast which lead to long waiting times was main let down"

"This hotel is a nice relaxing place to stay in. Staff are the best, food is excellent. The shower is the only problem, they need to move the shower curtain rod away from the bathtub to give more space when using the shower."

"A wonderful place to stay. Large room and bathroom. The amenities were great. Breakfast was included and was the best I had during my trip to Europe. Located centrally in the town close to any attractions. Highly recommend."

"What a gem! So happy I came across this absolutely amazing property! Filled with history, this beautiful house is a wonderful journey in time. Joyce has captured a peace of historic paradise for all who are lucky enough to visit. I changed my plans and stayed an additional night. Aiden is a fantastic human being filled with knowledge of all things Irish. He is a definite “goto” for help planning your experiences. Thank you both so much for your kind hospitality. "We loved this hotel. The grounds, lobby, and rooms were all immaculate. Having the ruins right out back to explore was awesome. We were in close proximity to everything in town. The bathtub was lovely for a bubble bath; the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. I only had two small issues, neither are large enough to remove a star but I want to mention them anyway. I think either explaining at check-in or having a little sign in the room to explain that you have to insert your room key into a device on the wall to make the lights work would be helpful. maybe this is just ignorance on my part, but I had never seen that before, so I was completely lost and had to go back to the front desk to ask what to do. The second is the TV. I think all hotels at this point should have smart TVs. There is nothing on basic cable. We got to the hotel early in the day for the purpose of relaxing indoors all day after a busy few days of travel and it would have been nice to have more options for TV. Even with those issues I really can't complain as this is clearly a well-run and well-kept property, and we would be pleased to return."
