The inn was lovely. Everything was very clean. Barman was attentive. Unfortunately we were not accommodated in the restaurant the evening of our stay. We came down after having checked in and were told no seating for us, go to the bar. You would think they would make room for people paying for a room or at least mention on checking in to make a dinner reservation! We are at the bar -but not so nice treatment I felt. The included breakfast the next morning had to be one of the best breakfasts...

The rooms were very inexpensive. They were very small. But clean and the beds were a lot more comfortable than most of the beds I’m finding in the UK. The bathrooms and kitchen were meticulously clean and organized. The kitchen had and oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers and every utensil, pot, pan, or sheet I’d need to cook. The only down side is there’s no plates, bowls to put my food in. I had to eat the food out of the pans I cooked them in. And the can opener doesn’t work. But those are...
