This is a lovely place for those who want to experience rural UK. The host(s) were great. They run the pub, which is downstairs and stays open until 11 PM. The rooms we stayed in were above the Pub, so no sleep until after 11 PM. The rooms were nice, but on the small side for Americans. The bathrooms were was even smaller. But, all in all we would recommend this place to our friends!
10/10 for overall quality, attention to detail, comfort, attentiveness, full English breakfast and more. One tiny niggle - I suspect that the owner's suite was above my room and footsteps above were clearly audible (early and late only). I would strongly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
Lovely old inn, dating to 1776. Has obviously been remodeled since then.glorious comfortable room, nice bathroom.surrounded by trees.Weather perfect when we. Visited, able to sit with a “pint” in the evening & coffee in the morning at the picnic tables on the pretty grounds.
We just loved our stay here. Glamping and so much more. The pod was very large, very clean, very comfortable, and had everything you would need for a first class stay. The internet was blazing fast. The kitchen was good sized, and it even had a large refrigerator and dishwasher. We stayed there 3 nights and wish we had made the reservation for more nights.
We loved staying here! The bed was so comfortable! The breakfast was great! Service was fabulous! It did not have an elevator and the kind man at the desk carried our bags up for us! That’s service!
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The location is fantastic (try for the Harbour view). The people are just lovely and the restaurant is amazing. The seafood is spectacular.
