This is a really nice hotel in a great location if you want to be in the centre of Lynmouth. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We ate a couple of times in the Ancient Mariner, which is attached to the hotel - very good pub food. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was excellent - if you like a full english, you are in for a treat.
The George was a great place to stay, dog friendly and all the staff were great and very welcoming and helpful. Although they don’t serve food in the evening, they were very accommodating, being very happy for us to bring a takeaway back to the dinning room to eat there. The breakfast was also excellent as were the staff waiting on!!.

The Anchor Inn has a great location and the rooms and amenities do the job but are nothing special. My room space was tight, although the bed was comfortable and the shower performed adequately.
