When you book a hotel you always read reviews with a pinch of salt. This hotel has fantastic reviews and with good reason. Everything from the welcome to our departure was absolutely first class without exception. A few members of staff deserve a special mention - Bernard, Mtoto, Nema and Baracka all helped make our stay extra special. The staff in general are exceptional including the kitchen staff who turn out superb food time after time and catered to my wife’s vegetarian requirements...
The hotel has a very quiet and enjoyable beachfront. The property is spacious so you don't feel that there are other guests. The buildings are very well maintained and the food is godd and reasonably priced.
The bungalows are not air conditioned so it might get a bit warm during the very humid months (April and May).
Overall a great stay. Definitely recommended !

Great location-within walking distance of Darjani Market and Freddie Mercury’s house. The staff was attentive and helpful. The room I stayed in was huge and clean. It was 3 flights up but they help you with your luggage.

We stayed at Tulia for 5 days following a safari. The resort was amazing but the best part was the staff. They did everything they possibly could to make our stay the best it could be. At first I would like to thank a lot to manager Lukas, who was very helpful and let us have a very late checkout for no extra fee (due to low season). Hotel is small but so cute, super friendly stuff, clean and nice furnished rooms. There is no air conditioner only the fan, but honestly it is absolutely fine and sufficient. the beach is amazing in both cases - during high tide or low tide. What about the restaurant - I don't think I had better meals anywhere else on island. Really amazing...
If you are looking for a clean and good place to stay and for comfort in stonetown, i would deffinitely recommend this hotel. It is in the middle of the town yet feels like away from all that dirt and crowd. Best choice and quality.

Loved our stay at the tempo b&b! The staff was amazing, especially the two men that helped us with our bags to the room. The dining room is right on the beach so you can have your breakfast staring out at the ocean. From our studio room, we were on the top floor and had a nearly 360 degree water view and we were right in the middle of the touristy part of town.
The only confusing part is that you check in at the main Tempo Hotel - but they help you get your bags to the b&b which is maybe a two...
