This is a lovely hotel close to the center of Perugia. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was immaculately clean. The view over the city and into the Umbrian countryside was lovely. We were very happy with everything the hotel had to offer.
Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. Great view of Perugia from across the valley, and the city itself is only a few minutes away (although it's one of the more maze-like experiences to try to get into the city center.)

So close to the main center of Perugia! The staff was friendly the breakfast was good, the closeness to the center of the city was irreplaceable, especially for the price! And we were extremely comfortable! such a great experience! We love Perigua and it would be hard to want to stay anywhere else! Also, try La Taverna if you go! We stayed at the hotel for three nights in January. The hotel is beautiful, warm and comfortable. The service was excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, especially the pastries. The pool is beautiful and we enjoyed using it and the sauna. We look forward to some day returning to the Sina Brufani.
The best part of staying at this hotel was the front desk clerk Anil. He brought and extra pillow ave a fan to help cool the room down. 2nd best was the beautiful rooftop pool with chairs to sit out ave enjoy the evening air. 3rd was the delicious dinner at the restaurant, the Cannaloni was amazing. Fun breakfast bar with so many options. Nice stay!
The reception and service staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. The rooms are clean and very spacious. I was delighted to learn that Pope Saint John Paul II slept in this place when it was still a religious site.

Amazing place to stay! It is the little things that make this place one of a kind: like two suitcase stands in the room. The service felt like they were full time career professionals that felt like they really cared about the place and the hospitality. Dinner and breakfast was amazing!
