The F&B team was outstanding. We ate so much because they would bring out off menu dishes to try and they all were outstanding. The staff truly wanted us to enjoy the food. My kids love Indian food and the staff fed them happily. The best of Varanasi hospitality. The rooms are massive. Property is small but that’s to be expected when located on the ghats I suppose. The only tip is not using the gully in the back to go to Kashi Vishwanath - it was disgusting. Take the hotel boat if you don’t mind...
Staff at Grand Dolphin were very helpful and courteous, starting from the front desk management to the dining staff. Laksmi from the reservation team made my car bookings to Ayodhya, Boat Tour for Ganga Aarati and Airport pick up. Prices were reasonable and she was very responsive to my requests. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Varanasi.
