Excellent hotel with a big public ‘onsen’ bath. Route-Inn is a national chain but this location was exceptionally good

This was our favorite stop of our two weeks in Japan. Staff were kind and helpful. The onsen was amazing. Food and drinks were great. Really nice stay here!

Hotel Isomura was a warm and welcoming place to stay! The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable Japanese-style inn rooms. The women's bath was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was so friendly. I really enjoyed my stay in Kesennuma and this hotel!

It's not the picturesque corner of town but a great stay not far from everything you need. Clean, safe, quiet. Hospitality & breakfast were top notch! Thank you so much!!

The hotel room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is very convenient to the train station, and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The hotel provides multiple vending machines for your convenience which is nice because the nearest 7/11 I could find was about a 10 minute walk. Getting near the port is also easy enough, it's about a 20 minute walk to the downtown area and some good restaurants.

The bathroom was smell of old sweat... It was not very bad but not really good.

The staff members were very kind. I was especially grateful for the kindness of those working the hotel restaurant.

Always using the Route hotel in Kitakami when stopping. Efficient, friendly and few minutes from the station
