The property was gorgeous with a onsite fabulous restaurant full of locals. You know its good when all the locals are there. Every person was warm and inviting. Every one we met made us feel like family.
Everything about The George Inn Mere was perfection. It's so mall and quaint, yet feels like the home you never had. The rich history of the hotel, the staff, the beds, and rooms. All perfection. If you are looking for a small local place that is off the beaten path, this is it. You won't regret it.
I stay at hotels 3 weeks out of a month for work. I would rate The Nog Inn as one of the best I have stayed at. The customer service and quality was impeccable. William and Amy, the owners, are a delight. The food, service and quality of the property was awesome. I would definitely stay there again.

The Crown is a lovely very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Monty, Gemma and Mark were excellent hosts and food is so yummy! Breakfast was included and was superb with many choices and staff were so nice and went out of their way to provide earlier breakfast on our last day when we needed to leave for Heathrow airport. This is a very nice Inn. Nice large beds, clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice food too, and lovely outside seating areas too. Staff all very friendly and helpful - many thanks to Taylor and her colleagues, we had a great stay.
I absolutely loved this hotel and would return in a heartbeat. This is the place to go if you want to feel pampered and taken care of. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. Their breakfast menu is amazing. The food is delicious and beats many of the cafes in the neighborhood. Their location is great- they are walking distance from everything, but still located in a quiet street where you can avoid too many tourists.
We chose this inn because of its high rating and location and the fact that it had parking when so many places didn’t. The views are incredible, the staff is great, and the food was so tasty. What a quaint dining room and pub. Lots of locals too! A comfortable place to be! The room was a little warm at night as there is no AC and the fan barely put out any air. But it was a big room with lots of space. We loved our stay there.
