Perry was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful along with her husband Paul. We had a cooked breakfast which was lovely, but we were also offered cereal in addition. Orange juice was served at the table along with our choice of a hot drink and we were given the option of white or brown toast or a combination of both. Will definitely return. Thank you Perry for a lovely stay.

Love this 400 year old hotel. I have stayed here before years ago and nothing has changed, which is good. Food is still great and Spa is great way to relax for an afternoon!
I was breaking a long journey so Retford was a convenient midway point and only a short diversion from the A1. I booked just 2 days before my visit and the price of this single room dropped while I was looking at other options. The bed was a very generous size for one and very comfortable. Ample electric sockets either side of bed head for lamps and my laptop, mobile and camera chargers.
