"Very welcoming. Staff was excellent in all areas and always willing to assist. Food was excellent especially the creme brule french toast! 😋
We only thought the bedroom was a little small.
We have no complaints and will recommend you!"
"What a beautiful facility. We stayed in a spacious motel room that had a deck overlooking the river. We got to enjoy the sunrise in one direction. The grounds were simple yet beautiful. Everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting at the pool overlooking the bay. The restaurant had a nice variety of options. The breakfast buffet also had a variety of choices. Every staff member we encountered were helpful, warm and personable.
We will definitely return in the future."
"This place was idyllic. Our room had an incredible view of the harbor and there were lots of tables and chairs set up along the water. A very off the beaten path but we wanted for nothing. I could have spent our entire week here. Highly recommend. The area also has a large number of preserves for watching wildlife and hiking, it's also close to the coastal botanical gardens."
"We paid for a room that overlooked the harbor, and the view was amazing. We ate at the tavern one night and the service and food was good. The hotel is in a super convenient spot to walk to all the shops and restaurants."
"Loved the old wooden lamps in the rooms and the headboards and furniture. King sized bed was comfortable; great firm mattress. Bathrooms all had windows which is a luxury these days, and rare in anything built after WW2…so it was nice to see in a “‘50s Classic” themed place. Would definitely go back. You can walk anywhere in boothbay harbor from this place."
"We absolutely loved our stay at The Greenleaf Inn! The inn was immaculate, comfortable, and such a welcoming place to come back to after a day of exploring. Our host was wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
One of our favorite parts was the amazing view overlooking the harbor. Being able to look out and watch all the boats coming and going was so peaceful and really made our stay feel special. We’re so glad we chose the Greenleaf Inn and would absolutely stay here again!"
"Loved our stay here. Very comfortable room with a great view of the harbor. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Cook to order breakfast was excellent and delivered to the room! Great staff."

Whether you want to collect beach glass or watch the sunset, Pemaquid Beach Park is a spot you might want to check out, located 1.4 mi (2.3 km) from central New Harbor. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Grimes Cove Beach and Hendricks Head Beach.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site— just one of the monuments in Pemaquid Beach. Why not take a stroll along the port and watch the sunset while you're here?
Steve, the Innkeeper was most welcoming to his impeccable old house inn. He extended his genuinely gracious warmth to each person with typical NE polite restraint.
The breakfast was simple with hot beverages and homemade banana bread. Each guest room had access to the mini kitchen w/ refrig in large but cozy dining area. The lovely garden was delightfully welcoming, homey and unpretentious.
You could not go wrong staying at Hawks House Inn.
Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the accommodations to the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Just minutes from the quaint fishing village of Boothbay harbor with its numerous shops and restaurants, you couldn't ask for a better place to really appreciate all the charm Maine has to offer. The resort itself features kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing off the pier and for the adventurous, they offer free sailing lessons on their own fleet of boats. There is a restaurant on...
We really enjoyed our stay at the Topside Inn. Overall it was a great experience with one caveat. The property itself is in a really great location and provides stunning views. The staff was attentive and the breakfast spread was really good. The carrot cake pancakes may have been the best pancakes I’ve ever had!
The only issue we encountered was the room definitely had a damp smell to it right when we got there. We got used to it but it did take a bit away from our stay.
The property is centrally located
The only downfalls are that parking can be tough unless someone is patrolling the parking lot. Too many people not staying at the property use the parking lot. And the electric lines and other power lines are too low which distorts the views from some rooms. The staff is great and the tavern food is delicious. A great stay overall.
The hotel faces west onto the bay with spectacular views of the water and especially sunsets. We stayed in a building off the main hotel which had four mini-suites, each with its own entrance and small porch looking at the water. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was a short walk to the hotel where there were two restaurants, both of which were excellent. The dock is just at the base of the hill and you can kayak, do paddle boarding, swim in the pool, or just sit and watch the...
A little slice of Heaven tucked away on a most peaceful and natural setting as can be imagined! Walking the grounds or exploring the natural bounty of the island can"t be more cathartic than this. Extremely comfortable beds and very clean rooms leave little to be desired if you are looking for that non plugged in experience. The stars at nite are what's showing and there is no intermission!!Chef Mario and crew are top notch , I've worked at the Ritz, and they perform w/o a hitch!
Wish I had...
This trip would have been perfect with the following: 1. lighting at the parking across the street, especially for late arrivals 2. Bottled water 3. Napkins or paper towels 4. Plasticware 5. Cookware for microwave - I left a dish for heating there for the next guest 6. Better bandwidth- the TV did not really work when other guest were there or the restaurant was in operation. No one likes to watch TV the is constantly spinning 7. A WiFi connection
Other than these things it was nice, comfortable...
We loved the view, along with the kindness and attentiveness of all who worked there. The location was great and made it easy to get to other places of interest in the area, great restaurants, botannical gardens, etc.
We stayed there as a last minute added night on our Maine trip late August. The location and views were amazing and Jersey is a hoot. He gives the orientation tour at check in and is very accommodating. The space is beautiful and our room was comfortable and spotless. We liked the community kitchen concept and would appreciate that next time if we stayed more to an a night. I would highly recommend this Inn and its sister property. Very relaxing vibes.
This little gem is set un an idyllic setting overlooking the harbour. We had a wonderful room right on the water. It was clean and comfortable. The welcome we got from the lady on the front desk was warm and friendly. She was very helpful and engaging.
All in all we loved it here, would definitely go back.
Stayed at the inn for a night while heading to Acadia. The pool was well kept with a garden.
They are renovating some parts of the inn which looks great. The room was spacious and clean.
Great stay. I wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities and the many activities. Set in a beautiful location. The views from the balcony were terrific. I especially enjoyed the way the balconies were configured which offered a maximum amount of scenery with a maximum amount of privacy. Made for relaxing, peaceful mornings reading my book and enjoying my coffee.
