"This was a cute restful place to stay. The room was immaculate and really comfortable beds, powerful hot shower. The breakfast served in the little chalet was delicious. We were in Iceland for the midnight sun so it was nice to have black blinds that were truly black out. The tomato farm restaurant next door was also an incredible unexpected delight! Booked this place for location but would love to go back."

"This was a great stay and a good base for the golden circle. We stayed in a 1-bedroom cottage. The rooms are definitely big enough for three, though I think with more it could definitely get squashy. The kitchen was fairly well-stocked, though in our case the stove light was not functioning. Heating functioned well though our stay was in August so it was not very cold outside. The bathroom was clean and had a heated towel rail. The access to the upper bunk was a little funky. There is a ladder, but this folds out and cannot be used when there are people in the lower bed. The hot tubs in the centre were great - well heated, clean and for us at least, quite empty. The general property overall has a very peaceful vibe, which is quite enjoyable if you are looking for a bit of rest during your days."

"My wife and I spent our first night in Iceland at Hotel Gulfoss and could not have been happier with our choice. The location is perfect for visiting the attractions on the Golden Circle furthest from Reykjavik. Our room was large, clean, and well-appointed. The king bed was comfortable and had twin duvets, so there was no arguing over how much cover each of us needed. We enjoyed a delicious lamb dinner in the dining room with views of the spectacular landscape. The bar had a good wine and liquor selection. There is plenty of free parking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great accommodations for one night or several."

"We stayed many places between $200-500/night range throughout Iceland and this was by far the nicest. It is far from town (good thing for some ppl, bad for others maybe). The whole hotel even smelled lovely. Large rooms, it was warm at first but they provided a fan we placed by the window and it cooled off nicely. Firm but extremely comfortable bed, perfect soft pillows and nice duvet. The breakfast was also maybe the best hotel breakfast we had in Iceland. One of the few places I would stay again out of 10 hotels we used!! I only wish they would not charge for the hot tub (which appeared quite small)"

"Signage is minimal. Hard to see from the access road. This is a very small property with two separate bathrooms with showers, and a kitchen, in one small building, and two additional flush toilets in a separate structure, supporting about 8 bubbles. Each bubble faces a clearing -- they are reasonably well separated. Consider the length of the days when you plan to stay here, but we definitely enjoyed it and found it clean and inviting"
