I chose the hotel because it looked newer, and that was correct. They were not that busy. The staff was very nice. It took them some time to activate our room cards, and when we got to the room, it would not open. Apparently, the door batteries were dead. They offered us another room, and 10 minutes later, they upgraded to the suite apartment, that was really nice, and spacious. Also, there is plenty of space in the bathrooms. Nice breakfast, too. This is hands-down one of the nicest boutique hotels we have stayed at (and we spend about 170 nights a year in nice hotels - for business and leisure). The staff was absolutely delightful in helping us with excursion suggestions, taxi and tour bookings etc. arranging for early snacks when we left before the breakfast time.

Thjis is a small but very charming hotel conveniently located in the heart of Chisinau. It appears to have been recently renovated, so everything was new and spotlessly clean. It offerred amenities important to travellers, including morning breakfast, a coffee bar, and a small, but very useful, self-serve washer/dryer. The single rooms range from small to very small, but are very adequate for single travellers. I will book it again.
