"The building is approaching a few hundred years old, so expect stairs etc. We stayed here while we were in the UK for a family wedding, the rooms were clean and tidy with individual bathrooms, no complaints. We did not go into the bar. The staff were next level in their warmth, helpfulness and friendliness. They went above and beyond to help us out and it was much appreciated."

"Happy to stay at the Richard III, and it was OK value for money. The only thing I would say is that the window aperture in room 3 was actually filthy - no other word can describe it. However, it did not upset my one night stay."

It's in a quiet, beautiful location in Fearby and makes a solid base for exploring the local area. No complaints at all—would happily stay here again."
