If you like to have an experience with the ecosystem this is one of the best place to stay. We can heard all types of insects and animals in the night time, like a concern. You can have the experience listen the rooster concern in the morning. You can breathe fresh air during the morning and night time. A good experience to be in contact with the earth.

It's been weeks since I left this property but I specifically wanted to write this review because they truly deserve it. Mosquito Boutique Hotel is absolutely magical! It is by a beautiful beach where you can witness the most incredible sunset. The restaurant on the property has great food and drinks. Pool was impressive, room was neat, A/C works perfectly (not many places in DR heat work well). Able to make quick meals in the room. Good breakfast offering.

My sister and I stayed at Costarena for two nights and loved it so much that we extended our stay for another two nights. It's the perfect balance of being small enough to feel intimate but big enough to afford privacy. I simply cannot say enough good things about the hotel - my absolute favorite spot in what is newly my favorite place to visit.

We reserved a studio that would have been a four floor walk up. My new husband would have had great difficulty due to emphysema. Jose, in the office, was terrific finding us a 1 bedroom ground floor. Very nice restaurant with Freddy taking care of us. Lovely pool with a swim up bar, beach across the street, and convenient location. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Obvious security thru-out the night gave me a safe feeling.

This hotel goes down as the best I have stayed in. My wife and I were looking to cap off a vision trip to some remote villages in the south of the country where we were expecting to work hard and have little amenities. Absolutely happy with my choice to stay here. Gated community with 24hr security, private beach just a short walk away, and the hotel restaurant serves delicious food and great drinks. You literally don't have to leave anywhere (except for food when restaurant is closed or snacks). Rooms were clean and new. Beautiful bungalow room, better food than I expected from other reviews. Beautiful grounds and beach. Easy check in, check out. Low key adult resort, walkable compared to the huge Punta Cana resorts. Las Terrenas is beautiful and deserves a visit if you love the DR like us. No complaints. Will definetely visit again, but there are so many more places in the DR we have to visit. And the beach walks during twilight are magical.
