What a magical place! We absolutely loved it and cannot wait to return. The hotel was beautiful, staff delightful, food delicious and really unique. All I can say is wow.
This place was beautiful and the staff is amazing. My favorite things were listening the the waves at night and then having fresh fruit juice in the morning for breakfast. The ONLY thing I didn’t like is that it was about an hour taxi ride to the town of Hell-Ville which is where you can actually experience some of the Malagasy culture. However, the staff made great arrangements for us and the taxi always arrived on time.

The only recommendation for travelers would be to bring any cash you need with you as ATM's were not easily accessible.

The ocean view amazing but you had to work for it. Lots of steps. (We stayed in the highest bungalow) There are no roads on the island. You get there by boat. The reception was amazing. We have been in Madagascar 3 weeks and Tropical Paradise Hotel is still our favorite hotel. It is a short tuk tuk ride from town and tuk tuks wait at the road. The staff is amazing, the restaurant is good and the rooms are comfortable except the bed. The only negative we have is that the mattress was thin and after 5 nights it got pretty uncomfortable. I wish I had asked the staff to change it though, because I bet they would have.
