Wonderful Stay at Maya Hotel Resort!
I had an amazing experience at the Maya Hotel Resort during my 7-day stay. My first impression wasn’t the best, as we arrived at night, and I couldn’t see the ocean because the tide was out. However, in the morning, the water returned, and with better lighting, I was able to fully appreciate the beauty of the resort.

I don’t think there’s a better place to stay in Pingwe. This place has the most dreamy views you’ll ever experience in Zanzibar. The staff is impeccable! The bed and breakfast was just perfect. Honestly, everything in me wants to gate keep this place! I’d also want to share more but I also don’t want to give away too much to maintain the pleasant element of surprise. Please, trust your gut like I did and book. Best decision I’ve ever made on a hotel.
This is the place to stay on the island! We had a marvelous time at the Ocean Boutique. Every single staff person has a smile and extraordinary customer service skills. They can arrange any excursions you want. Everything is kept sparkling and clean as they service your room twice a day. The food is outstanding. Chef Ali and his team serve amazing good. If you are a foodie, this is the place you want to stay. You will not be disappointed in a single thing.

A beautiful white sandy beach and well maintained hotel is the core of this lush resort. Supported by a very friendly staff and competent management guarantees a great experience. The food is excellent and if you have a chance, try the private dinner setting at the beach with your very own server. Finally the Sultan "s bath and couples massage is the ultimate experience . On a lighter note, request a mattress topper at check in, unless you like it firm .

We stayed at Tulia for 5 days following a safari. The resort was amazing but the best part was the staff. They did everything they possibly could to make our stay the best it could be. They were the friendliest, happiest people we have come across in our travels. The food was outstanding, with plenty of options. We had a great stay at the Sands. The staff were amazing, from Mr. Ally the GM to the executive chef and the cooks like Thomas who took care of us. The hotel has a very quiet and enjoyable beachfront. The property is spacious so you don't feel that there are other guests. The buildings are very well maintained and the food is godd and reasonably priced.
The bungalows are not air conditioned so it might get a bit warm during the very humid months (April and May).
