My husband and I stayed our last night in Alsace and really loved our accommodations and our host and hostess were extremely helpful in getting dinner reservations. The room was charming and comfortable and extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious and many choices including a warm boiled egg perfectly cooked. Our room had recently been redone and was beautiful! It was very spacious and had a gorgeous shower. People should be cautioned, however, that it is open to the room and when sharing with someone other than your partner can be uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and with any other questions we had. The hotel is located right in the heart of Colmar and is convenient to all. Breakfast is included with delicious pastries and breads, but no hot food is available....

This hotel was a bit further than anticipated to the town center, but it was super close to the train station. I was worried about the "part of town" given the proximity to the train station, but I should not have worried. It was a cute room and the front desk was very helpful during check in and the wifi worked well. The area surrounding was quiet, but clean and while I didn't walk around much at night, it didn't feel unsafe at any point when traveling as two women.
