"I rarely give scathing reviews, but our trip included harassement from the hotel manager and I want to make sure our experience doesn't go unnoticed. The booking was a work trip for my husband. At the hotel the heating was broken (mid-November) and the hotel manager put a small space heater to "solve the problem". We asked for a different solution or to be moved to a different hotel. The manager gave a different space heater that was also not sufficient for the room. We called Expedia for their support. During our call, the hotel manager came to the room and started to yell at my husband for having called Expedia. The hotel manager asked my husband if he wanted to be refunded, albeit aggressively. My husband felt unsafe, accepted to be refunded and left immediately. After all that, the manager seems to have changed his mind and will still not give a refund, even with intervention with Expedia. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. "

"We stop half way on the road from Canne to Blois and were delighted to have chosen Hotel du Golf. A most corteous and professional welcome to a spotless and comfortbale hotel which we had chose due to its restaurant service for dinner.....and we were happily surpised by the quality and variety of the menu served by a very friendly team in most pleasant surroundings. Well woth a visit."

"The only not so good part was the food options because the restaurant on site does not open on sundays and for other options you need a car , public transportation is not accessible from the location unless you have the uber app"
