When I booked this three star hotel, I was expecting a three star hotel. Turned out to be much better than many four stars or even some five stars where previously stayed. The criteria for stars appears to be the additional facilities the hotel has, swimming pool, spa, etc. This hotel has what really matters, comfortable rooms, quiet, well located, convenient self-parking.
Close to Guebwiller, the hotel offers an enjoyable stay in the nature. You can hike and bike around. The area is very calm. The room was clean and comfortable.
This is our second time to stay at this location. As always, great experience - comfortable room, friendly staff and most of all, great location! If given another chance, we'd definitely come back.

This was a completely competent stop on a week of touring rural France. The facilities were completely good to wonderful. The dining area was large and clean, and the breakfast was among the most varied offerings. Good choice, for us p by luck.
I liked it was near the Statue of Liberty. Got to give my kids a history lesson. Hotel was very clean and quiet. The view of the mountains were nice. Staff spoke English and was very helpful

Kaiserstühler Hof is a wonderful, traditional German hotel/restaurant, building on generations of service starting as the standard "post office hotel" that one finds in many German towns and cities. We loved every aspect of it, except that we happened to be in Breisach during a heat wave. Temperature was in the 90s, and this venerable hotel does not have air-conditioning. Staff gladly provided an oscillating fan, which helped us get through the night. Aside from that we highly recommend this...
Colmar is a lovely town and Le Colombier is a great place to stay while exploring it. The hotel is near the old town and is interesting and quirky. The staff was helpful and the breakfast, while expensive, was varied and tasty.
