in hornberg...a ways from triberg....very nice small hotel...and a great resturant next door run by the same people who run the hotel...ate dinner 2 of 3 nights and the food was good both times...highly recomend
This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
Just one suggestion, my bathroom was a little cramped and I was really missing a full-length mirror somewhere in the room.

The husband, Herr Reutlinger, is also an accomplished chef and the inn is featured in various restaurant guides, including Michelin Germany. Beautiful old Black Forest hotel with lots of history, located in a stunning valley in a picturesque small town. Perfect for hiking, biking, unlimited trails. Wonderful place.
We loved the view from the rooms balcony. It's family owned and the owner operator is very kind, friendly and helpful if you want to explore the area. We will plan on coming back.
