We stayed at the Rocco Forte line before and found it lovely, however the service and overall experience at the Charles Hotel truly defined luxury service. Best example: we wanted to take the subway to BMW World and it being a hard to find station, the concierge not only walked us to the station but down to the platform and ensured we got the correct train. We look forward to staying there again when we return later this year.

I booked close to the train station and this was a very easy walk (0.2 miles). I wanted to add another night and couldn't through expedia without having to change rooms. Since they let me check in early, they were able to juggle other guest accommodations so I could keep my same room for the second night. I paid the hotel direct, which was actually cheaper than expedia and included breakfast (which was quite nice). Five Stars for service and facility.
Very nice place to stay in Munich. Centrally located for public transportation and in a safe area. The highlight is the breakfast spread — make sure you take advantage of what they offer for a good start to your day. Wonderful people taking care of you, especially Avni. This place is definitely a property I would recommend. Staff was very nice and friendly and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I had in Europe, so far. The only thing that sucked was the eggs were a little cold. The rooms are cozy, nice and the bed was very comfortable as well.
It’s a great hotel on all accounts. Except it should be noted for individuals with mobility issues that you have to go up five steps to get to the elevator and it only goes up six floors. It does not go to the seventh floor. That really should be in the info on the website somewhere. If it was, I didn’t see it in. I was fine, but this was an FYI for others.
