It was a good omen when we were greeted by a double rainbow arcing from the hillside as we arrived to the villa. The building is neat, clean and whimsically decorated and furnished. Small and simple, our stay here was a welcome break from staying in cities and fighting for a parking space. The villa is not walking distance to dinner or activities, but is is so peaceful and relaxing that it just doesn't matter. We highly recommend spending a night or two here. The hotel is wonderful and the grounds are so peaceful. We also recommend getting dinner here. The food was great, some of the best we had in Sicily!
Absolutely lovely and comfortable home just out of town. A 200 year old villa fully restored on property that includes gardens. The owner was very gracious and efficient and the breakfast was amazing. It takes about 7 minutes to go to the town center in car. Note that the road to town and to the house are tight so go slow and drive carefully.
Great value for the price. The views are stunning, especially at night from multiple terraces. Less than a 10 minute drive to central Piazza Armerina, and there is a supermarket about within walking distance (or a very short drive). High recommend, owner made an effort to make sure we had everything needed. Very good restaurant on site maybe one of the best in town. This town has a free shuttle from the public parking lot and stop directly at the hotel and other stops in town. Parking is always my biggest issue with visiting towns in Italy and this gets an A+. Also, I left two bags in my car in the lot and they were still there in the morning so I felt it was very safe and secure.

If you are looking for an authentic rustic experience in the Madonie area, this is the place. It is to the Petralie, Castelbuono and the Madonie mountains and is therefore a great base for exploring. This is not an updated renovated villa, but it is a wonderful and comfortable and charming villa none the less. This is a beautiful property. The staff members went above and beyond. The restaurant is great and highly recommended. They even arranged a private pistachio tasting for us. For the price, it is a great value. Architecturally, the property is stunning inside.
