Loved this small hotel tucked into a hillside with gorgeous views. Dinner fantastic with attentive staff. Not a large menu. Just a few first and second course dishes prepared just for that night. At the chef’s suggestion we shared plates of all of them. The pool has great views and drinks. The hilltown Fortunago is on the list of Italy’s best preserved and carefully maintained. Although the landlady assured me that it was a quick walk to the center of town, it is not one you would want to repeat more then twice a day, as it is located among apartments outside of the main town. She was very nice, but made it clear as she handed me my receipt, that there was little need to make further contact (her office is a computer at a local Pizzeria, her hours are uncertain, but you can call if you need...
