Hotel Casa del Pellegrino was wonderful. No frills, but super clean and accommodating. I was super comfortable and felt safe and secure. Perfect location if you are looking to visit the Basilica. Parking available for 12$ euro a day as of September-October 2022. Staff are super friendly and accommodating- called for a taxi for us a few times and their system is quick and efficient. Wifi is great. We had breakfast included in our stay and they had an abundant options in food- warm and cold...

It's a little far from Venice and doesn't have a shuttle, but for us for one day it was a treat. We took a taxi that cost 30 euros each way, we had so little time it made it worth it. The place is lovely even if the paintings are a bit camp after you have seen the masterpieces in Venice. The grounds and interior are lovely, gracious, and comfortable.
