Our expectations weren’t high because this hotel was so reasonably priced, but The Tewkesbury Lodge was a pleasant surprise—the most beautiful place, with spacious rooms, helpful, friendly staff and delicious food, both at breakfast and at night. We constantly marveled at the views and the beautiful gardens, as well as the perfectly maintained golf course. Only downside was no elevators and no air conditioning, so just fix that by asking for a ground floor room and a fan. Definitely will return....

It was fantastic locale if you like to hike!! You are across the street from the carpark of the British Camp Trail....great hiking up the hills. If you want a cute area to stay...get to Great Malvern-- and take in the beauty....all while staying in a neat hotel, with a nice restaurant. This would be your place. Breakfast is included---and greatly welcomed. Of note...there is not a fridge, microwave in your room. We loved the place. Highly recommended.

We stayed one week in the Cottswald, and this was by far the nicest place we stayed. It was truly a resort experience. The grounds were gorgeous, and there were many indoor and outdoor seating areas including 3 posh lounges with different vibes. Reading, games and music/relaxing. Upscale Aromatherapy diffusers by each bedside! Dinner was best meal of our lives, and a lovely breakfast was included. The smart tv worked perfectly, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Spent one night during a tour of the Cotswold area. The hotel is on a very quiet street adjoining a green square. Proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice--larger than some small British hotels--extremely clean, very modern bathroom. One big window overlooking Clarence Square. Also has its own small car park so parking was easy. The included breakfast had everything from full English to fruit and pastry. Easy walk into the downtown area. The steps are pretty steep (no elevator)...
