"Our room looked out to the cathedral. It was spacious, a great bathroom with shower, and a copper bath in the bedroom. Staff here are outstanding, and Ely itself is compact, picturesque and very interesting indeed. Fabulous location to explore everywhere on foot, no vehicle required !"

"We stayed at Belle Vue Guest House for just one night, but by the time we left, we genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived, Martyn made us feel very welcome and provided first-class service throughout our stay. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Nothing felt overlooked, and it was clear that real care had gone into making guests feel at home. Breakfast the next morning was superb, with plenty of choice and excellent-quality ingredients, including proper sausages and thick bacon. It was the perfect way to start the day and rounded off a really lovely stay. I have no complaints at all and would happily recommend Belle Vue Guest House to anyone looking for friendly service, comfortable accommodation, and a great breakfast. We will definitely book again next year, or sooner if we get the chance."

"We stayed at The Duke’s Head Hotel for three nights & on registering, we were given a complimentary upgrade. The room was lovely with a lounge, bedroom & bathroom, being very comfortable & clean. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Our booking included breakfast & there was a wide & good choice. We had an evening meal on our first night which was well presented & delicious. The hotel is ideally situated for getting around King’s Lynn. The only disadvantage is that although there is parking behind the hotel, it is a pay car park(£15 per 24hrs). The bath was quite deep which could be a problem for anyone with a physical disability to get in & out of, the shower being over the bath & was quite slippery. However, I would definitely stay here again if visiting Norfolk."

"Lovely!! Perfect location on route to coast. Stayed in the main house, super huge cosy twin room with everything we needed, really clean and beds comfy. Staff were super helpful from the moment we checked in, the pub next door was cute and welcoming bar staff and friendly guests all chatting. Managed to get a swim & steam in before checking out, loved it! It’s not a modern hotel but clean and felt like a treat to stay. The tea & biscuits in the room was a nice touch. Would recommend 🙂"

"Well, what can I say.... We booked into The Dabbling Duck last minute, having had a problem with our original booking elsewhere. Right from the moment we arrived, the whole experience was exceptional. The kind lady at reception had pre-emptively shuffled some rooms so we have a suitable room for our little Boston Terrier, and the garden room we stayed in was lovely, a good size and very tastefully and appropriately decorated. The very helpful and friendly staff even squeezed un into the fully booked restaurant both nights, showing a huge level of customer service which I find so rare in the UK these days. What can I say about the restaurant... I've eaten in 1,000s of restaurants over many years of business travel, and I have to say that this is right up there amongst my favourites. The setting is lovely, the decor and atmosphere just right, and the food was exceptional. Both my wife any I agreed that on both nights, the soup was possibly the best we've ever tasted, and the mains were exceptional too. I could ramble on for ages, however suffice to say, this little gem in Great Massingham is the best 'mistake' we've ever made. Well done to the management and staff which gave us such lovely memories. (The village is also lovely, and a hub for exploring the glorious countryside nearby)."

"Friendly lady in the reception/shop which was nice. The lodge was big and modern only let down by dirty carpets( various stains), dining room chairs and the settee. We also found the mattresses to soft. We didn’t complain as we were only there 3 nights but any longer then would be worth checking these things are sorted before booking. Good location, park nice and quiet."

"Stayed for one night, but wished we had stayed longer. All the staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. He dined at the Lamb in the evening and the food and service were excellent. There was plenty of choice for breakfast with a range of additional cooked options. We had great views from our room which was very quiet."
