What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. We had an excellent stay for our 8th Anniversary. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The best part was the guest policy, we were able to invite our friends over without any restrictions or headcounts. It made hosting our gathering completely stress-free. Highly recommend!

The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.

I had a 22 day stay while visiting around Yangon. The best part about this hotel was the staff. Everyone that worked there was friendly and kind. That fact alone makes this a great place to stay.
This was a 5 star stay at budget friendly prices.

Nice room with all needed amenities incl. really nice Lavazza coffee. Great pool (really clean), amazing beach just outside our room (waters of the Bengali Bay...and that water is very warm) and DO eat at the hotels restaurant (Brizo), since they here make some of the best local food we have had on our entire trip in Myanmar (try the Mutton Curry!). And though you may wish for egg and bacon (which is always good), then treat yourself with a local breakfast soup called "Shew Taung Noodle Soup"....

We had a lovely two-night stay here as a family and were upgraded to the Kin Wunn Villa upon arrival. Just being in nature, petting goats, and sitting on the porch looking at the scenery was the refreshment from the city we were hoping for. The staff members were all very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back.
