I am between providing a 4 star or 5 star review, but will tip it up to 5. It’s probably like a 4.25. Overall was one of our favorite stays in Iceland. The cottages are so unique, it was really fun to stay here and I’m so glad we did! I would totally recommend to anyone staying in the area. A few notes: 1. We stay 2 nights at Aurora Cabin. It is located on Highway 1 and it is easy to find. The Cabin is Cosy and have a nice Kitchen with everything we need to cook for a good meal. We met the Property Owner Ivac on 2nd day. He is nice and helpful. He told us where and when to look for Northern Light. We saw Northern Light that night just outside the Cabin. The Cabin is just a few miles from Hofn where we can buy Grocery We will definitely stay at Aurora Cabin again if we come back to Iceland

We had a good night here. The room was spacious and the kitchen had enough to cook that night. Beds were comfy. The guesthouse seemed new so it had everything you needed. The shower curtain could be changed more frequently, as it had pink mold on the bottom of it. Since there was no exhaust in the bathroom, if you opened the window while showering, it created a vacuum that made the shower curtain blow onto you and then the nasty bottom of the shower curtain was touching your legs. We got a 2brm unit. I was really nice and staff were great. Being honest our son showered for 10mins a then the next person got a minute and it was arctic water. The three of us left had to boil pots of water and bathe. It was an experience.
