You can stroll along Port of Split for relaxing water views when you're in Bacvice. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you carry on walking you'll get to Split Marina and Bacvice Beach for some more water views.

The spa and massage treatments were wonderful, I’d highly recommend the magnesium full body treatment.
The gym was well equipped for a hotel gym, it could do with a bit more space for floor/ mat work.
Staff were very friendly and attentive.
The breakfast was wonderful, endless options to meet your preferences and the piano player really added to the ambience.
Great location, about 20-25 mins walk into the old town (up hill on the way back).

"We stayed 7 nights at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel. This was our return visit, and while the overall experience was still good, it didn’t quite match the standard of our previous stay.
The hotel itself remains elegant and well located, with a classic charm that stands out in Zagreb. However, this time some aspects of the stay felt a bit less polished compared to before.
On a positive note, the room service team was excellent throughout, consistently professional, friendly, and responsive, and easily a highlight of the stay.
Overall, still a solid hotel with strong service in key areas, but a slight step down from our last visit."
"The hotel itself was beautiful. Luggage pick up and drop off at the ferry is a perfect start to the experience. The breakfast was delicious and such a great variety of foods. The pool is amazing for a relaxing day without having to go anywhere. The bed was a little soft, but that’s just a preference!

"My husband and I truly enjoyed our recent stay at the Lapad Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We also really liked the breakfasts (one of the best hotel breakfast we have had!). The pool area was delightful, relaxing and peaceful. The bar/restaurant by the pool was also fantastic. The location was a little far from the Old Town (about a 30 minutes walk), but the access by bus or Uber was great. So, this did not bother us at all. We also enjoyed several great restaurants nearby. We fully recommend this hotel!"
"We had a beautiful Seaview room, well worth paying extra for this. The pool was big and clean, plenty of space and the children's maro world was really great. The breakfast was really good, so much choice and lovely tables outside to enjoy the gardens and sunshine. We also used the pool of neighbouring hotel which was great. Uber to Dubrovnik old town was 10 minutes and cost around €7. A lovely hotel!"
