This is a special place on earth, and Maria is a wonderful hostess and owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She prepares farm-to-table fare that is delicious. However, we were visiting in March, and at that time of the year the options for a vegetarian is rather limited. Other than that, which is certainly understandable, this was a great place to relax, unwind, snowshoe, and ski (rentals in Tromso).
We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. Very nice area everything is walking distance. 3 adults in the room but it was spacious and the kitchen came handy. Most comfortable sofa bed I ever tried. My flight didn't leave until 3pm, it was nice to have a place to leave my bags.
