Guachochi is well-known for its attractions such as Cusarare Falls and Copper Canyon. The city has something for everyone including sights like Recowata Hot Springs within a lively setting.
Hotel Mision was a sweet little hotel in the Copper Canyon. Staff was extremely helpful. We had a wine vineyard right in front of our room - made for a lovely spot to have cocktail hour! There isn't much of a town here, but several good tours offered.
We love this hotel, people from staff was very kind and helpful, clean rooms and the best views are on rooms that have balconies. The tour guide is very nice and love to help, he also offers taking care of our 2 years old daughter at the Parque Aventura.
Food was included and we are vegetarian, staff from restaurant made us a special vegetarian dish that they don't usually offer.
People that work there really knows how to make you feel like if you were in a paradise!

After more than 25 years not going back to Las Barrancas del Cobre , we went this April and stayed at the Mirador Hotel.
What a great experience, we were surprised by the service, the number of activities available for the guests, and last but not least, the food was amazing.
This first night we attended a wine tasting with a great view of the Urique Canyon; the following day went to the park and hiked in the evening with Martin.
On our last day we went hiking at 6 am to see the sun come out,...
I wanted to thank the management for allowing us to store our luggage a couple hours before our check in time. As for parking, I did not use parking so I am not sure if there was one available. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Creel train station. Great location and great price. The rooms were clean.
