"Lovely hotel but didn't quite feel like a 4 star. The little extras you'd expect just weren't there. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable but the was only a kettle for instant tea/ coffee! Breakfast was lovely. Staff on reception were very helpful but the lady in the bar restauraunt was rather rude. The swimming pool was great. Small jacuzzi and the sauna wasn't hot enough."

The staff were very prompt and friendly in answering any correspondence regarding our stay. I would thoroughly recommend The Malt Store as accommodation if visiting this part of Ireland. "Avalon house is a Hidden gem. There's so much to do in the area with the adventure Park in the beautiful walking trails in the forest. The breakfast which was included was amazing. I just thought it was a great place to stay. We even went zip lining nearby and it was very affordable. It was just a treat to stay at the Avalon house. Everything was just right."
