Unbelievably incredible hotel! This place is a PALACE! The pictures shown online do not do it justice. I created an entire photo album just of photos I took in the hotel! The grounds are exquisite, the halls are filled with incredible artwork and statues. The pool is wonderful. The suite we were provided with was fit for a king! Centrally located. Access to many restaurants, Church and even a green area to jog (if early in the morning). Rooms are upkept with modern amenities. Great for a short stay for either business or pleasure. Great comfortable bed. Except for the hot water, in the shower that failed the first day, I cannot find any flaws to this hotel. BTW, the water was back that evening... dont know why, so I did not complain to management. Would definetely use again in another trip.

We stayed at Casa Serena as a family while looking for a house to rent. Our family has traveled all over the world and having a 3 year old son. There is not another hotel that is even close in terms of being a safe/fun place for kids. Apart from that we have a 94 pound golden retriever. The property was absolutely beautiful. Availability was great, the only thing that I will remark on is that there is not a pool in the hotel or any other surrounding hotels. I went searching for an outdoor pool and could not find one in the area of Cayala. That is the only thing I would recommend. Any pool that could be shared by that hotel and others would be great. Not the AC hotel's fault, will always choose this hotel line.

This hotel is on Zone 10 of Guatemala City, one of the safer zones. The traffic in the city is very bad, but our room was at the back luckily. We had arranged a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but there was a miscommunication and no shuttle came. Luckily, I was able to phone the hotel and the front desk did then send a shuttle to the airport. It is fairly close to the airport, so is good for an early morning flight.
