"The family made us feel at home. Excellent breakfast every morning. The pool and hot tub were an amazing way to relax after a full day of activities. The family cooked a very good authentic PR dinner one night and even ran out to pick us up dinner from a local restaurant one night. The property was amazing. Truely a hidden gem."

"The property photos are not accurate. The property is old and outdated. As soon as I get off the elevator there’s a horrible odor of mold and mildew. There’s cleaning supplies and dirty laundry in carts left unattended on the hallways all day every day. Upon entering my room, all the furniture was outdated and in terrible condition. There were stains on the carpets and mold on the walls and ceiling. Not to mention roaches! Yes roaches!!!! They were everywhere. I notified staff and was told there was no other room available to move to. The best part about the hotel was the pool. I spent my time in the room actually sitting on the patio and just enjoying the view because after seeing how they dropped the ball on the cleanliness of the hotel, I wouldn’t dare get in the pool/hot tub. I was scared that that hadn’t been cleaned either, and I would hate to come home with some unknown rash or sickness from the pool. Don’t book this hotel save your money!!! "

"Great hotel, location and staff. There was an issue with the water but they fixed it right away. Street parking right in front of the hotel, always found a spot. A little noisy from air conditioners outside and music from a nearby festival but I still give it 5 stars. "

"This property looks nothing like pics. The room furniture & carpet were worn. The mattress creaked & had no fluffiness or firmness at all. Awful. The AC was loud like wind blowing & wouldn’t turn off. Very annoying. The towels were dingy & worn & the shower glass was not wide enough to keep water from going all over the floor. There was no fan & small window in bathroom wouldn’t open. There was an odor in room like dog or sock smell. Went to included breakfast more than hour before cutoff & both coffees were empty and most of food had been picked over with no refill. Asked for quiet room & was put close to elevator & on 4th floor so could hear highway sounds all night. During night there were yelling people outside at pool i guess. Needless to say this stay was quite disappointing. Didn’t compare with Hotels.Com description at all. "

"The room was not cleaned only the bed made. No trash in trash cans were removed etc. Some staff were kind and others were very rude. The hotel was old and the breakfast was not up to Embassy standards in US. This Hilton brand has really gone down over the years. The location on the beach was nice. I would not recommend this Embassy Suites."
