We are so glad we chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo. Fantastic staff. Room was spacious with good amenities. Great bed. Blackout shades. Very quiet despite being on a busy street. Just a block away from the nearest train station, and free shuttle to the airport (Haneda).

Room: Spacious at 30m2. Mattress and pillows comfortable. Non-opening windows, blackout curtains. Electrical outlets "A"-type ("B" in bathroom), USB at bedside. Bedside light switches labeled in English, analog clock, full-length mirror, mini-fridge, hot-water kettle, coffee fixings, pajamas; closet with luggage-stand, six hangers, usual Japanese range of accessories (clothing brush, spray, shoehorn, slippers). A/C effective.

1 min. from the underground station and 1 stop to Haneda Airport terminal 3 . Very convenient for early flight , nice italian restaurant ang good food.
A quiet area away from the busiest of Tokyo. Transportation is accessible by walking. Staff was pleasant, kind and accommodating! Self check in through the kiosk was a straightforward and seamless process. The staff at the receptionist counter were of course there to assist with any questions or concerns.
Rooms are clean and pristine! I love the layout of mine completed with
6 blocks from cruiseship ports. 3 blocks from chinatown. 1 1/2 blocks from airport limosine bus stop. 1/2 blk from subway. Place was very clean, very safe and at least 1 person on duty who spoke english. Staff very helpful and accomadating. Easy to get around.
The Hotel New Grand is a historical landmark in Yokohama. The location is hard to beat. It’s across the street from Yamashita Park, blocks from China Town, the International cruise terminal, 15 minute walk to Yokohama Stadium and good access to train system.
Only down note is Hotel. Ew Grand needs to upgrade pillows, they were extremely uncomfortable.
I can’t find a single point of complaint of this hotel. Staff are extremely helpful even if you can’t speak fluent Japanese. Room is clean, amenities are great (WiFi, free water, inexpensive laundry machines, free coffee and tea, and etc). The location is great, drug/convenient store just right next to the hotel, 3 mins walking to Yokohama station, 5 minutes walk to shopping centers and malls. Not to mention all the nearby restaurants.
The staff are very friendly. The room feels new and well maintained. Although the building is lacking a taxi pick up and drop off area, but there’s a monorail train station within a short walking distance.
While it wasn’t in the middle of Tokyo, it was right across the street from a train station which made it very convenient to get around the greater Tokyo area. Everything was very clean and the staff was always happy to help me with any questions. They really made my first international trip an easy and enjoyable experience.
The staff made everything easy for us. It was extremely helpful to have a washer/dryer and microwave. Very convenient and near a shopping area, not too far from the train station. I would stay there again if I’m in the area.
It takes 10 to 14 minutes to get to nearest rail transport.. a little far for Tokyo hotels I am used to.. I come to Japan often.. On a positive easy access to Haneda Airport as compared to Narita.. Also cheaper going to Haneda Airport on taxi and allot cheaper.. 5000 to 6000 yen ($33-$40) Narita is about 18000 to 27000 yen ($120-$180).. This is good value when you first arrive and depart if you do not want to take the rail with allot of luggage..
