This has been characterized as a highway hotel and it may so but it's definitely much more than that. Rooms are ample and very comfortable, and clean. Hotel staff is always ready to help. Hotel is in a very small village on lake adjacent to Lake Como -- easy to Milan about 45 min and to other villages and Lake Como about 30 min. Lovely staff, nice, comfortable rooms that are well appointed and gorgeous bathrooms. Not much to do in the immediate area so don't expect to walk around a cute town, but the hotel has a solid restaurant with a good breakfast and nice dinner dishes overlooking the lake.
Gorgeous hotel with amazing views of the city. Although it is a little outside the city, you can walk (about 30-45 minutes) or the hotel provides transportation at certain times of the day.

What makes the difference is the staff, they make you feel welcomed and are very helpful. Admittedly the fist impression was a bit off. We typically stay in major chain hotels and our initial impression was that the location would not workout for us. However this quickly faded and our stay was quite pleasant. Though the facilities are older and show signs of wear the cleaning staff was top notch!

Hidden gem tucked in Lenno - easy access to ferry (across the street from hotel). Ferry can take you to any destination in the lake but Bellagio is a must see. Get in, hop in hop out the ferry and be amazed!

The breakfast was delicious!! Beautifully set out and in a lovely space with a view of the Lake and nearby restaurant patios. The room was well thought out and comfortable. But no luggage stand or place to set luggage.
The staff at this hotel was so incredible I can't say enough about them. Hotel was clean and had everything you would need. Restaurants were close. Train station was a bit of a walk. Not centrally located. Train system was a little challenging. Alot of the city was dirty and people were rude around the city.
